Aperture operates a Quality Management System to BS:EN:ISO 9001:2015 which is assessed and audited by SGS on an on-going basis.
Regular site inspections are carried out by our General Manager and our Technical Manager and completion photographs are available of all our projects.
Our system is suitable for a wide range of existing substrates including bituminous surfaces, GRP, concrete, timber, asphalt, approved insulation boards, metal profiled sheets and single ply systems. Our Aperture Weathering System met all the criteria to enable the system to be approved by Kingspan and has been tested for compatibility with Colorcoat HPS200® and the Corus Confidex® Guarantee for total peace of mind. Colorcoat Confidex and HPS200 are registered trademarks of Tata Steel.
This latest development comes at a time when the specialist cold applied liquid system for use on metal roofs, walls and gutters, continues to attract an increasing number of specifiers keen to utilise the many benefits that Aperture offers.
Dave Maginnis said: “We have had a strong belief in this system since launching the business some eight years ago.”
A number of key factors were measured and monitored throughout the assessment process including watertightness, durability, resistance to mechanical damage, adhesion and properties in relation to fire, demonstrating a positive outcome for each.
The Aperture Weathering system is cold applied using a hand lay process to offer a quick, durable solution to the most challenging roof or cladding area. Reinforced with a polyurethane overlay, flexi-resins are fused together with glass fibre reinforcement to form a tough, impervious skin suitable for all roofs. Aperture is one of the country’s leading cold liquid applied specialists and employs a UK-wide team of directly employed technicians
