Part L2

Part L2 of the new building regulations (regulation 22 part J of Scotland) covers air permeability and thermal bridging. Aperture Weathering system was developed with this in mind, ensuring this part of the envelope is to a standard that will assist the designer or specifier to achieve Part L2.

Aperture met all the criteria to enable the system to be approved both by Tata Steel and Kingspan.

Only company trained employees are permitted to install Aperture Weathering system ensuring a consistent quality of installation. In addition, Aperture products can come with a 10-year guarantee.

Specification

Single pack, ultra high solids, polyurethane embedment and protection coat, partially or fully reinforced with Elastomat glass fibre matting to provide a membrane of excellent mechanical properties.

Suitable for a wide range of existing substrates, including bituminous surfaces, GRP, concrete, timber, asphalt, approved insulation boards, metal profiled sheets and single ply systems.
